Originally formed in 1983, the Edge was the rock n' roll dream of 4 young teenagers from Bolton, ON. Now 30 odd years later, the boys are back together. Brought together, again, by the thought of a one-off band reunion, at a 50th birthday, the boys not only pulled off the party but chose to continue that teenage dream. This time the dream is not quite so global but instead to simply embrace a love and passion for music that never waned over those 30 odd years.
The Edge consists of singer John Cheesman, guitarist Chris Harker, bass player Peter Abbott, and drummer Tim Kwiatkowski. Each member carving out their own personal life path, some remaining in music, some in the theatre and teaching and some in politics (it doesn't get more rock n' roll than that!), they have remained friends through it all. The Edge weaves 80's pop hits, with 90's shoe gazing classics, along with 60's, 70's, and songs from the new millennium... and if you're lucky they might even pull out one of their originals from the first incarnation of the band, then written by mere kids in their teens.
The Edge perform as a duo, a trio and a four piece full band unit. Catch them live... you won't be disappointed!
