Whiskey Jack - the stories and songs of Stompin' Tom Connors. The most Canadian show ever.

For almost 50 years, Whiskey Jack has been performing their unique brand of Canadian country, folk and roots music throughout North America. In the 1980's, they were featured weekly on CBC TV's Tommy Hunter Show. During those years, each Friday night, a temporarily retired Stompin' Tom Connors would watch their segment, The Ol' Back Porch and became an avid Whiskey Jack fan. Along with 2 million of his fellow Canadians, Tom enjoyed the band's humour, soaring vocals and amazing musicianship.

When Stompin' Tom returned to the recording studio and the road after a 13 year hiatus, he called Whiskey Jack and invited them to join him in the studio to record his acclaimed album, "Dr. Stompin' Tom... Eh?". These two Canadian musical institutions would continue to perform and record often together until Tom's death in 2013. With many recordings to their credit, members of the band include band founder and raconteur, Duncan Fremlin on banjo. On guitar (and many other instruments), with 2 Juno nominations for his voice, virtuosity and his original songs is Douglas John Cameron. Throughout their touring season, they also welcome Stompin' Tom's long time fiddler from PEI, Billy MacInnis. Billy is "the real deal".
