New for 2026, a live string section expands the performance into a rich seven-piece ensemble. Adding fresh orchestration and emotional depth to Lightfoot's timeless catalogue and delivering an immersive evening that celebrates the enduring legacy of Gordon Lightfoot.

A Toronto-born musician with more than 30 years of professional experience, Stinson formed close personal relationships with Lightfoot's original guitarists Red Shea and Terry Clements, shaping his deeply informed understanding of Lightfoot's sound. Since 2011, he has performed Lightfoot's music for audiences across Canada.

Lead guitarist Eric Kidd, a Barrie-based musician and educator, studied directly with Red Shea and is known for faithfully capturing the guitar style that defined Lightfoot's original recordings. His playing preserves the tone, phrasing, and nuance central to Lightfoot's early work.

Bassist Steve Eyers brings a rare familial connection as Gordon Lightfoot's nephew. The son of Lightfoot's sister Beverly Lightfoot (Eyers)—who managed Gordon during part of the 1970s—Eyers adds a deeply personal link to the music's history.
