Donate - Leave a Legacy

Planning a gift in your will—also known as a legacy gift—is a meaningful way to ensure the Gibson Centre for Community, Arts & Culture continues to enrich lives for generations to come. Legacy gifts are fulfilled after your lifetime and may include a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a gift of assets such as stocks, bonds, or insurance policies.
 
Your legacy helps preserve our historic home and sustain the arts, cultural, and community programs that make the Gibson Centre a vibrant place for future generations.
 
Sample Will Bequest Language
 
To establish a legacy gift, please ask your lawyer to include language similar to the following in your will:
 
I give to the Gibson Centre for Community, Arts & Culture, located at 63 Tupper St West, Alliston, Ontario L9R 1E4, the sum of $ _____________, or _____________% of the residue of my estate.
 
This bequest is to be used in support of the Gibson Centre’s arts, cultural, and community programs, or at the discretion of the Gibson Centre.
