School of the Arts - TOTA 2019

Taste of the Arts 2019

Taste of the Arts (aka TOTA) is a free community arts event for children Grades 1 - 8.

Bring the kids to Taste of the Arts on Saturday January 19th at the Gibson Centre in Alliston! There will be 2 starts times during the day, 10:00am and 1:20pm. Though this is a drop-in event, you must come for one of these start times in order to ensure that your children will have time to try all 7 activities being offered this year...And it’s FREE! Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to try it all!

In order to skip the line and know the exact start and end time for your child's visit with us, contact to pre-register. We will still accept walk-ins the day of the event, but by registering you ensure your child's placement and time slot - making it easier to plan your day! Pre-registering is also a great way to ensure that your child will have time to try all of the activities being offered. It takes 2hrs and 20min to rotate through all available activities.

Participants will be guided from activity to activity by our staff and volunteer team. Parents will be asked to wait in our comfortable waiting area where coffee, tea and some snacks will be for sale. You can sign your children in and pick them up when they are done if you do choose but you must sign them in AND pick them up with a signature.

We are so looking forward to having participants enjoy their time with us. Please remember that this event is for children grades 1-8 and children younger than 6 years will be too young and unable to enjoy the activities prepared. Children must be comfortable participating without the presence of their parents as we simply do not have room for that many people to be moving throughout the building at the same time.
