Retrospective Exhibition of Paintings by Andrei Platonov

Andrei Platonov was born in the Soviet Union into the family of renowned Russian-Ukrainian architect Pavel Platonov.

Throughout his career, Andrei has illustrated more than 200 books and has participated in numerous exhibitions in Russia and Germany, showcasing his oil paintings and works in a variety of other media. Since 1998, he has lived and worked in Ontario.

His artistic style is often described as abstract realism, drawing inspiration from the works of Kazimir Malevich and Wassily Kandinsky.

We are pleased to present A Melody of Life, a retrospective exhibition featuring Andrei's artwork from different periods of his career and across a range of media and styles at the Gibson Centre.
