Events - Events - 'Tapestry', The Carole King Songbook

We are celebrating the 45th Anniversary of Tapestry, the 25 million selling record, with Canada’s only tribute to Carole King, featuring Suzanne O Davis.
For this unique performance at the Gibson Centre, “Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook” recaptures the 1971 Carnegie Hall concert that Carole did as a solo performer after releasing this remarkable album.

Not only does Suzanne have an uncanny likeness to Carole, but her energy, warmth, audience interaction, and piano playing effortlessly match the vibe of Carole King in concert. She’ll be presenting the complete Tapestry album, along with many hits from the 1960’s now featured in the Broadway musical ‘Beautiful’. This includes songs recorded by the Beatles, the Drifters, James Taylor, The Shirelles, Donny Osmond, Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin – and the list goes on.

Along with the huge catalogue of Carole King’s hits, Suzanne O Davis also enlightens the audience with stories about the songs, and the history of Carole’s incredible career.

You’ll love the music, and we guarantee that you’ll be singing along to every great song at this show!
